Sunglasses Summer 2018: What’s in?

It’s a little bit early for summer vacations, but many of us have got them planned since winter. And now it’s really time to stock up on summer fashion items so that you don’t have trouble packing when the departure day comes. Sunglasses, of course, should be picked out with your utmost consideration. Hundreds of new sunglasses are designed when spring-summer season is approaching. But it’s not that hard to pick out your ideal pair of sunglasses if you get organized and realize that most models fall into just six categories. So, let’s get started and browse through the major sunglasses trends of summer 2013.

Coloured sunglasses
Colour – that is what summer is all about. All typical colours of sea resorts: lemon yellow, lush green, sea blue – all they are on trend. Or in other words, if you see a pair of glasses that evokes the memories of your summer holidays – there is no doubt these are fashionable shades.

Circular shades
The way circular glasses are perceived is constantly changing. One season they seem weird, the next season they are extremely fashionable. Well, this season is the time when they are totally in. They never fail to add a touch of retro style to your looks. This season you can choose from a number of variations of circular shades: large, medium, with uniquely designed or traditional metal frames.

Geometrical sunglasses
The more progressive fashionistas opt for geometrical sunglasses this summer. This is something really new. The design will change your looks beyond recognition, so these shades are a perfect option for those who like experiments. Such sunglasses may be spotted in the latest Fendi collections.

Oversized shield glasses
Well, these ones are very unlikely to get out of fashion ever. Firstly, this design is second to none if you are conscious about protecting your eyes from harmful UV-rays and the broad temples keep the sides of your face safe from the sun. And secondly, they really add some mysterious air to your looks. These ones may be found in the collections of brands such as Dolce Gabbana.

Cat-eye sunglasses
This is another comeback of this year. Feline shape is ideal for creating a complete feminine look. The glasses may be found at such brands as Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Jason Wu. This is the favourite design of many celebrities such as Katy Perry, Miranda Kerr and Dita Von Teese. It’s a good idea to follow their example this summer.

So, this is what the designers have prepared for us this summer. Start creating your summer wardrobe with buying your new pair of glasses and you will totally get the ideas of what the rest of your summer outfits should look like. The good news is that a lot of manufacturers now make both standard and prescription sunglasses of many of these types, so no-one will be left out!
